Ice Storm '09

well it will be hit and miss for me to be on, Paducah has now had one of the worst ice stroms in decades. Hell we even had the The Weather Cannel reporting from here. I am at work now so yeah I have electricity but Nicole and lil man are staying with a friend who has a fireplace, due to there saying it could be 9 days before power is restored. We have up to 2" of ice everywhere with 170,000 people out of power. So if I am slow in the next two weeks updating You guys can understand why. Blame mother nature.

I'm having same troubles, 2 days W/O POWER, 46 F in the house

670,000 people w/o power now high winds coming in to finish us off.

I feel for you all and understand. I am in Bowling Green and while the ice has been bad here ( we have been out of work for four days) we have had it relatively easy compared to the northern portion of the state. Of course I still am reminded of the ice storm of 94' in which I got stuck on the interstate between Nashville and Ft. Bragg. ( Usually a 9 hour trip turned into a 19 hour one).. I wish you all luck!

Fucking Pussies.....Try 4 feet of snow in 24 and then it melts and turns into a fucking sheet of ice. Closing schools? 40 below and we still have schools!

You guys in the east really need to come out and join us in teh fucking boonies where real men are!
